The Cleveland Auto Show marks the start of the spring selling season in Northern Ohio. Featuring concept, pre-production and production vehicles from the world’s auto manufacturers, the show is held annually at the I-X Center with nearly one million square feet of exhibits. The Show also features an array of entertainment including sports celebrity appearances from the Browns, Cavs, and more. The Cleveland Auto Show is a consumer show and a favorite family tradition since 1903.

Friday, Feb. 24: Opening night, brought to you by Spectrum Reach. The Cleveland Auto Show officially opens its doors to the public at 5:00 p.m.

Also on Friday night from 5 to 10 p.m. the Cleveland Auto Show honors America’s warriors, veterans and first responders with free admission for Northern Ohio Hero’s Day. Free admission is limited to the Northern Ohio Hero with valid identification and will not be extended to spouses, children or friends of the Northern Ohio Hero. However, there is no geographic limitation to Northern Ohio Hero’s Day. No matter where you served, when you served, or currently live, you are free to take advantage of the offer. Saturday, Feb. 25: MEET THE SMURFS! Come by and say hi to Star 102's Tim Richards at the Chrysler Pacifica booth and bring your kids because THE SMURFS will be there to meet with everyone from NOON to 4pm! They are in town to promote the first fully animated Smurfs film...SMURFS: THE LOST VILLAGE opening nationwide Friday, April 7th! In this new adventure, a team of Smurfs led by Smurfette are determined to figure out what her purpose is (i.e. her “thing”). She is joined by Brainy, Clumsy and Hefty on a thrilling adventure through a never-before-seen Enchanted Forest!

Sunday, Feb. 26: Cleveland Cavaliers star forward Kevin Love will be signing autographs in the GMC display from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Be sure to arrive early for a better spot in line, as this appearance is sure to be popular and autographs are not guaranteed.

Monday, Feb. 27: Family Day, presented by Medical Mutual, is when kids 15 and under get in free. This would be the perfect day to bring the kids to check out the LEGO Batmobile, which will be featured in the Chevrolet display for the entire run of the show.

Tuesday, Feb 28: Cleveland baseball legend Kenny Lofton will be making an appearance in the Buick display from 6 to 8 p.m.

Thursday, March 2: Tommy Christmas and Chuck Kountz from Christmas Automotive garage, featured on Discovery Channel’s “Fat N’ Furious” will be hanging out at the Show from 5-9 p.m. Stop by and talk shop!

Saturday, March 5: Our Classic Car Competition is making a classic comeback. Judging for the competition takes place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Awarded is a $500 cash prize for Best of Show, as well as five $100 cash awards for runners up. New this year, there will be an additional $100 “People’s Choice” award held on the Cleveland Auto Show’s Facebook page.

Sunday, March 5: Don’t forget to come back for the Grand Finale of the Cleveland Auto Show at 5 p.m. for the drawing of the Official Vehicle Giveaway, when one separate lucky winner takes home a free 2017 Chevrolet Cruze Premier – the Official Car of the Cleveland Auto Show. To be eligible to win, register at the Official Vehicle Giveaway booth near the West Entrance of the I-X Center.

The events list will likely grow from here, but as always, the cars are the stars.

Ride N’ Drives: Our Ride N’ Drives are wildly popular, and in addition to indoor ride attractions like the Camp Jeep and Ram Indoor Truck Track obstacle courses, which are returning this year, the Cleveland Auto Show will host Ride-N-Drive events from Chevrolet, Ford, Kia, Mazda, Subaru, Toyota and FCA, which includes the Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram and Fiat brands.

Millionaire’s Row: This popular attraction, presented by Bernie Moreno Companies, will also be returning for 2017. The makes and models being featured this year have yet to be announced, but this display never disappoints due to the “dream car” status of these high-line vehicles.

Classic Cars: One of the most popular family attractions of the Show, the Classic Car Competition will be displayed in the Classic Concourse on the lower level of the I-X Center. Local owners show off their vehicles that are 25 years old or older, and vie for a chance at one of six cash prizes.
